Privacy Policy

CinemaKit ("the App") is developed and maintained by Özcan Çelik ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use CinemaKit on your phone.

1. No Account Required

CinemaKit does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app. All features, including the 7-day free trial, are available without registration of any kind.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. CinemaKit does not use analytics services, advertising identifiers, or third-party tracking SDKs.

3. Device Permissions

CinemaKit requests the following device permissions solely to provide its core functionality. Data accessed through these permissions stays on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party:

  • Camera: required to capture RAW Bayer sensor data and record MLV, Cinema DNG, ProRes, and HEVC/H.264 video.
  • Microphone: required to record audio alongside video.
  • Photo/Media Library: required to save recorded footage.

All captured footage, RAW files, and processed exports are stored locally on your device and/or your media library. We have no access to this content.

4. In-App Purchases

CinemaKit Full Access is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks premium features after the 7-day free trial. Purchases are processed entirely by your device's app store. We do not receive, store, or process your payment information — this is handled according to that app store's own privacy policy.

The 7-day trial period is tracked locally on your device and is not linked to any account or identifier we control.

5. Local File Server Feature

CinemaKit includes an optional in-app file server that lets you transfer recorded footage to a computer over your local network while the app is open in the foreground. This feature operates only on your local network, transfers files directly between your device and the computer you connect from, and is never accessible over the internet or to us.

6. Children's Privacy

CinemaKit is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
